Your Home Theater and Installation Experts

Home theater installations and home automation systems demand intensive design and planning. It goes far beyond simply choosing surround sound audio systems and home theater projectors to complement viewing environments. Provisions must also be made for integrated whole house audio systems and distributed video, automated lighting control and shading systems, proper climate control, and security. Rack designs and wiring diagrams must be meticulously engineered and developed, and it all must be implemented with an eye toward reduced energy consumption and ease of use via user-friendly touchscreen controllers or other remote controls. Coordinating a home theater construction project of this magnitude is generally far beyond the reach of most individuals—regardless of the amount of time spent researching.

Electronics Design Group (EDG), one of the northeast's premier consumer electronics and home automation specialists, provides homeowners and designers with answers to the logistical challenges of media room layout and systems. From preliminary home theater ideas and approved home theater design, to the final home theater installation, EDG manages and implements the entire project, resulting in total turnkey solutions for discriminating homeowners, corporations, and architects of ultra high-end home theater rooms and automation systems. November Project Profile

They call it custom electronics for a reason. Here in this high-rise suite along Manhattan's Central Park South, the couple had precise requirements that didn't exactly fit a cookie-cutter design for music, video and home control. But that's nothing new to the designers at EDG, who pride themselves in tweaking tried-and-true electronics to meet the unique needs of its clients. Here, audiophile-grade music quality came first...
