Integra offers the latest in audio equipment with new innovation continuously in development. Their newest 3-Zone home theater receiver, the Integra DTR-7.8, offers endless home entertainment possibilities. Its Wide Range Amplifier Technology (WRAT), HDMI Audio & Video Processing, and connection readiness for integration with XM, Sirius Satellite Radio, or your iPod, make this amplifier extremely versatile with up-to-the-minute technology.
Crestron
Crestron has introduced its newest product, the iServer, which will be available on September 1. The world's first integrated iPod-based home audio server will streamline audio as it has never been before. The Crestron iServer is connected to your home computer network and automatically synchronizes with your iTunes Library. There's no conversion process - no bridges or interfaces. Just buy and play!

 Scarlet Chic
This month's featured project is a perfect example of an antiquated home theater that received an overhaul. Unfortunately for the homeowners, the original theater, fondly referred to by the homeowner as The Madison Half-Plex, sustained water damage thus prompting a redesign project sooner than if there had been no damage. The end result is a stunningly updated home theater with virtually all new equipment.
The theater's processor, projector, and control system were the first to be replaced, also with the addition of Blu-Ray technology, a rebuilt rack system, and new material for the theater screen. And so comes the "calm after the storm" with a beautiful, new theater updated to last for years to come.

CEDIA Expo is Coming!
 We're halfway through the month of July, and rapidly approaching is the CEDIA Expo in Denver, CO on September 3-7. This is where the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards, as well as the Lutron Excellence and the Crestron Integration Awards, will be announced. EDG has entered several of its projects into these competitions and we are hopeful that we'll be bringing home at least a few trophies this year.
Over the years EDG has taken home seventeen Electronic Lifestyle Awards in various categories.
