Careers: Sales Pro / System Design
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience in sales and design of audio video systems and/or control systems in the commercial or residential markets (non-retail setting). However, we may consider an individual with direct selling experience to high net worth individuals.
Responsibilities Include:
Calling on architects, custom builders, designers to develop strategic relationships.
Lead follow-up with end users for needs analysis, project scope and budget.
Designing systems based on scope and budget,
Participation in trade shows,
Intense follow up with potential clients,
Project Coordination after the sale,
Local travel within the tri-state area.
Desired Skills:
Excellent written and oral communications,
Highly organized and detailed able to multi-task successfully,
Ability to work under pressure with deadlines,
Creative solutions and design sensibility,
Knowledge of audio/video systems design,
Knowledge of Control Systems (AMX, Crestron, Lutron),
Professional sales ability, strong follow-up, strong closer,
PC skills; MS Excel, Word.
