ELECTRONICS DESIGN GROUP WINS CUSTOM INTEGRATION AWARDS AT CEDIA EXPO 2006
Luxury Electronics Integrator Awarded 8 Times at National Expo

Award competitions recognize excellence. Electronics Design Group (EDG), a leader in the luxury custom residential electronics integration field, found out just how excellent they were this past weekend, September 14 -17, at the 2006 CEDIA Expo held in Denver, Colorado. EDG, located in Piscataway, New Jersey, was the winner of 8 National Awards ranging from design competitions chosen by their peers, members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) to manufacturer’s recognition for total sales. “Our team worked tirelessly throughout the year. This is a fantastic achievement,” exclaimed EDG President Bob Gullo.

Large Home Theater – Level IV Gold Technical Design ($160,000 - $210,000)
(12 seat home theater featuring 7.1 surround sound, 117” screen, and dual layers of sheetrock and construction techniques to isolate sound.)

Best Hidden Installation – Silver Technical Design
(Gentleman’s lounge design featuring 7.1 surround sound, motorized shades, motorized Media Décor Art Frame concealing a 42” plasma, and an 80” movie screen and high-end projector with motorized actuator hidden neatly into the soffit.)

Overall this marks EDG’s 14th Electronic Lifestyles Award. Since the competition began in 1996 no other firm has won more awards than EDG.
EDG won its second Crestron Integration Award in as many years. This also marks their second Lutron Excellence Award in three years.
