ASID IP Member, Electronics Design Group, has been approved for inclusion
in ASID's professional development program

Electronics Design Group, Inc., of Piscataway, New Jersey, has been awarded approval of their lighting control course, "Practical Applications for Residential Lighting Control" for inclusion into ASID's professional development program. Thus, due to ASID's membership with the IDCEC (Interior Design Continuing Educations Council) this course is also approved by all member organizations (ASID, IDC, IDEC, IIDA).

"Practical Applications for Residential Lighting Control" is a 0.1 CEU course that will allow participants to analyze the practical applications and benefits for lighting control systems in residential spaces like the kitchen, foyer, dining room, media room and landscape areas. Presented in a case study format students will evaluate scenarios and define areas of a project where lighting control systems can improve aesthetics, enhance functionality, and increase efficiency for the end user. Some topics of discussion include: dimming technology, reduction of wall clutter, and controlling of controlling preset scenes.
