Piscataway , NJ–September 27, 2004–
Electronics Design Group, Inc. (EDG), of Piscataway, NJ, won the 2004 Excellence Award for Best Lighting and Shade Integration at a ceremony held September 9th at the Indiana State Museum hosted by Lutron Electronics. The Excellence Awards were voted on by a panel Lutron executives in a blind voting contest.
The Excellence Awards were designed to honor Lutron's HomeWorks® total home lighting control system providers for HomeWorks projects completed between June 1, 2003 and June 30, 2004. The winning project presented very challenging criteria to work with. A high level of lighting and shade control, with a very simple and intuitive programming was required by the clients. EDG's solution for the six buildings spread over several acres in this Greenwich CT home was 71 6-button keypads, 84 motorized shades and 264 lighting zones.
"Lutron hosted a first class event to recognize some of the best lighting control projects throughout the past year," stated Dave Randolph, VP of Engineering for Electronics Design Group. "It was a tremendous honor to win the award for Best Lighting and Shade Integration. EDG's drive to be the best is fueled by a team of dedicated individuals who work hard day in and day out. My hat goes off to them."
